1:1 Zoom call with Jennifer to discuss any element of your book project. These calls are ideal if you want a personalized “big picture” consult on YOUR book idea/project before beginning, so you understand the process and don’t get distracted. These calls can also be used for advice on a customized launch strategy. Further, if you want eyes on your manuscript to review it for marketing purposes and optimization, this call can be used to ensure you have included all the elements to put the book to work for you, given your objectives.

Consider the Book Coaching Package if you want support while writing your book and consistent feedback as you progress. We custom design this package for your needs, skill set and timeline. Book coaching packages can run for 3, 6 or 9 months.
You will be guided every step of the way. Book Coaching covers items like:
- Regular check-ins on your progress and support to move past obstacles – accountability
- Regular feedback on drafts
- Marketing strategies to build your platform and list-building strategies as your write your book
- ISBN Assignment Options and Registration with the Legal Deposit Library and Archives Canada or your options for USA
- Publishing Options: trim size, paper selection, distribution options, rights, translations
- Understanding your publishing accounts and dashboards so you can see the impact of your marketing efforts once your book is published
- Ordering author copies and print-on-demand strategies for events and retail
- List of printers, other than KDP, for different book options (binding, covers, etc) and fulfillment
- Distribution options and which is best for you to manage now and in the future (you have options but to be spread too thin too early could be a bad idea)
- Templates for front matter and back matter to make your own
- If you are being coached by STOKE as you write your book, it is all eyes on your book, marketing, and author presence so that we can implement any uplevels and address any opportunities for expansion before your book is published. We bring ALL our expertise to your entire book project.
Book Coaching Packages can also be priced to include all or some of the services you will need to make your manuscript a final published book (interior or cover design, website, positioning and analysis). This flexibility allows you to use other service providers or DIY for some elements should you choose. However, we can customize it to be the most comprehensive service we offer to ensure that you have someone managing your progress as you move along to ensure nothing is overlooked. We design it based on your needs and objectives.
VIP Day – Get It Done Day

The VIP Day is designed to tackle the list of things you need to get done regarding your book, publishing and marketing. The VIP Day must be scheduled at least 30 days in advance to ensure we have brainstormed the things that need to be accomplished on that day and that you have time to provide us with everything we will need from you before the VIP Day begins. YOU must be available for a Zoom call and then via text, phone or email during the day for quick feedback as we tackle the list!
WE DO ALL THE WORK.
Before the VIP Day, we meet to discuss your list, select the priorities given the time we have, and decide on the things we will need from you one week before the VIP Day.
On VIP Day, we meet on Zoom for a quick check-in, and then WE GET TO WORK. While we may not be able to tackle everything on your list in one day, we will deliver what we said we would get done for you at the end of a VIP Day. This is ideal for someone who wants the big stuff done and out of the way NOW.
A VIP Day can address almost anything on your list. We do as much as we can in one VERY FOCUSED DAY. VIP Day tasks can include any items you need to be done (but we may not be able to tackle your entire list, and additional time may be required, but you will know what we CAN get done). We discuss expectations before the VIP Day.
